Putting the Care in "Obamacare"

An Alternative Healthcare Town Hall

When Californians walk into doctors' offices, hospitals, and clinics in the years to come, how will their experiences be changed by the passage of federal health reform? How can we work together to put this legislation into effect in ways that improve the quality of the care we receive? That build on our state's successful models of high-value care?

Three of the state's most innovative healthcare leaders addressed these questions at this event. Each was influential during the reform debate and responsible for pioneering practices that were models for federal legislation. They shared their candid opinions about the opportunities in federal reform implementation and discussed the challenges that lie ahead.

This event is co-sponsored by the Integrated Healthcare Association, Off the Presses, the Headington Media Group, and the New America Foundation.
